Study your current tenant, is there a type of person that is your ideal tenant?

If so, you can create client personas of your ideal clients.

Build your high-quality content designed to reach your client persona.

Make sure that your facilities’ contact information is easy for the visitor to find.

Talk about your business, of course, with things like storage guide sizes and pricing, but also about content that can educate them in their future storage decisions.  

2. Optimize your website for SEO

SEO, or search engine optimization, helps your website to be found by potential customers who are searching for storage companies.  

To get yours on the first page – the gold standard by which people choose their business needs from – you need to get your page SEO optimized.  

There are many sites out there to help you do this easily.

How you respond to those reviews is important as well – try to respond to all of them, good and bad, within 24 hours.

Free advertising is a great thing – online reviews, social media, word of mouth, all goldmines for a storage company.  

But sometimes you will be paying to boost your posts, keep your website going, and get it optimized.

Have a plan in place of how you are determining your out-of-pocket costs on advertising are paying for themselves.  

Otherwise, you may need to tweak what you are spending your money on to something that will bring in business.
